Gateway II

Eh, introduction needs weakening.
Ease up the difficulty as you introduce the player to your style of game. I've never seen your work before, nor played Gateway I, and IMHO this was crap. I have a TV, a wire I can drag around, a button I can press in a hall, some taps, a toilet and seat, and a numpad. I have tried random combinations on the numpad, toggled everything in sight, can't do jack. I'm over it, right then and there. No reward for fucking around with every option prima facie == no interest.
As I said, introduce the player to your style gradually, yes you're getting a lot of hits, a lot of votes and a lot of reviews, but think of how many thousands more are sitting there all "WTF?" and giving up. :)
Murloc RPG

Awesome concept!
The game play was terribly tedious however, I gave up half way through my second wolf and wrote it off as too slow and boring. The concept, interface and adaption of a MMORPG into a stand alone flash game was masterful however, so my ratings on that are through the roof, however game playability isn't listed above, for that it'd score a fat 0 due to it being way too slow paced and tedious. Keep up the good work, but for the love of god tweak the combat round speeds or provide a means by which one can set the game speed to warp speed or higher. Also the tom tom drums were as annoying as fuck, perhaps a sound mute or more variation?
Gladiator
Rated 1.5 / 5 stars January 10, 2006
Great concept ..
But very poor execution. Getting hits is difficult, you don't attack forwards, most of your arc of attack is sideways. Combinations are few and far between and the controls feel like they're lagging. The repetative music is boring and droll, the gladiators being able to outrun you with ease makes it even more difficult, plus the pinion control makes you feel more like driving a car in GTA than fighting a gladiatorial match. Weapon drops aren't common enough, there's no way to heal or repair yourself.
To anyone wanting to make a similar style / concept based game, I would recommend using time outs after fights where your gladiator's owner can go purchase him some better equipment. Keep it realistic, no fantasy aspect, and it'd be quite unique.

Awesome.
Bring on the next episode. Lose the lame hat and gay voice, it detracts from the ability of the audience to take your work seriously. Humour is fine, parody and references to cult stuff like bonzai kitty, land of the dead, et cetera, are all fine. But outright stupid is what will kill this if it turns into a series. Keep it semi-serious and VERY realistic and you'll have a cult following / hit with it.

Could have been the best flash ever.
Awesome graphics, really well designed, imacculate style and technique used, yet as useless as tits on a bull. I'd love to see you apply your style and abilities to something with a purpose or a storyline or .. anything.
Also, minor boo's for stealing a musical score undertone from Star Wars. :P Unless it was an intentional nod to it.
The music was an intentional nod--sorry to mislead you. I take care to cite my sources and give credit where it is due. But about the story--
I'll be more clear in my descriptions next time, but the purpose of this assingment wasn't to fully flesh out a story with beginning, middle, and end. It was an opportunity to create visual storytelling with a simple story. . .a window into the world.

Amusing flash!
I'll start out with the bad then get to the good. Storyline needs work, sound's a bit too pre-amped and no one waits until after the credits if they scroll that slow. The choreography was awesome, although the lines used for the stick men were a bit too fat to really allow most to evaluate the fluidic motion you managed to integrate into the flash. Very good flash altogether as far as graphics and sound went! I just wish the bad guys won. :(
